Share with us about your „traces of wings“

In one of the most important exhibitions of this year we would like to involve also you, our visitors, through competition. Will you share with us about art, literature and music treatment of the theme Angel? Or are you „traces of angel wings“ captured photographically? Until the end of January 2017 you can send us your creations. Participation is open to anyone older than six years.

The competition will be divided into four age categories and four artistic disciplines: visual arts, literature, music and photography. The unifying theme is Angel.

In the case of works of art is a spectrum of possible types and techniques wide. „From drawings, through painting, collage and other species. Participants have their work in a museum ship physically, that is sent either by mail or left at the museum ticket office under the slogan angel, „said trainer David Hrbek. In the context of literary works he pointed out that prose can have a maximum of one standard, poetry, whether written or bonded free verse, is not limited in this respect.

In any musical form and quality is interested can send in mp3 format, „said the trainer. „We will assess the technical quality of the recording, or speech, but the song or the song itself. Along with the record even send the lyrics,“said Hrbek.

A separate category is a photograph. The task of photographers is to take place where the angel left traces. „And it may not be a traditional place like a cemetery or a church interior. Angelic trace a person can appear virtually anywhere: in park tram on hospital corridor or in bins in alley,“suggested lecturer Mark Šobáň.

Each participant may enter one photo. Candidates may bring photos in person, sent by post (Denisova 47, 771 11 Olomouc), by email to soban@olmuart.cz. „Selected photos we will exhibit in the basement café Amadeus and will be presented on the museums website,“ concluded Šobáň.

In each event and age category will be declared the winner of the professional jury, the details will be published in time through social networks and the Web site of the museum.
