The history of St.Wenceslas Hill in Olomouc and its immediate surroundings was the focus of the art and drama camp of the Olomouc Museum of Art called Forward to the Past, which is now heading into its second half. Starting on Monday, the children will explore times from prehistoric times to the Baroque during a surreal trip, and at the Archdiocesan Museum they will get to know rare works in the new exhibition Here You Are.

"We travel against the tide of time with the children and learn about the rich history of Dome Hill. We have created a familiarization ritual, walked with a guide through the Olomouc Cathedral from the loggia to the crypt, and experienced scientifically and artistically the power of the elements that make up the decoration of the ceilings of the halls of the Chapter House. Occasionally, mysterious figures appear and hand us strange objects...," says Marek Šobáň, head of the museum educators. Two more days of amazing experiences await the participants of the suburban camp. "On Thursday we will go on a trip to Kroměříž and then we will have a night at the museum full of surprises!"
