Eduard Ovčáček died

Yesterday we received a sad news, the artist Eduard Ovčáček died at the age of 89. The collections of the Museum of Art boast several of his works, such as Communication 3E (Black) from 1964, which is part of the permanent exhibition Century of Relativity. 

Eduard Ovčáček was one of the most consistent artists in Czech post-war art dealing with the relationship between writing and image, but also between writing and sculpture or object or photography, and last but not least between traditional and non-traditional poetry.
