Baroque music concert will help restore the music archive

On Wednesday 2 August, Baroque dance music and arias from the serenata Hercules und Onfale from the pen of the court bandmaster J. H. Schmelzer and Emperor Leopold I himself, all from the castles music archive, will fill the Kromeriz castle, and that is where the proceeds from the entrance fee will go! 

"The proceeds of the collection will be specifically donated for the restoration of rare music and manuscripts (Biber, Bertali, Schmelzer, Vejvanovský) and for the purchase of de-acidifying materials," reveals Kateřina Fajtlová, curator of the Museum of Art, who is in charge of the music archive.
