Divided painting united by chance

As a detective story with a mysterious twist and a happy ending is a story of baroque painting The Last Judgment by the Italian painter Giovanni Balducci called Cosci. Monumental panel painting from 1601 was in fact the first half of the 20th century divided into two parts as separate images with their own names ended up in two different collections. Relationship between art historians trace the decades just after interplay happy accidents. Thanks to the careful work of restoration is the work of the famous Italian Mannerists again the whole Archdiocese Museum Olomouc.
