The black roll reveals the depth Štreit‘s photos

By beer was baptismed at the opening the book of exhibition Jindřich Štreit (Un)known photographs 1978–1989. The exhibition on the seventieth birthday of the iconic creator of the photographic document represents a mostly previously unpublished images. They mirrored humanity and warmth.
Director of the Museum of Art Michal Soukup at the opening reminded that the mission of the museum is to acquaint the public with the most important artists who indelibly intervened in the development of Central European art. "This territory has long exceeded Jindřich Štreit," said the director. A director of the Institute of Creative Photography Vladimír Birgus picked humanity and warmth in Štreit creation.
The current exhibition at the Museum of Art forms unknown and unpublished photos. "The second part is 20 meters long blasck roll, which Štreit exhibited nearly thirty years ago in the lounge cinema Pohraničník in Bratislava. As a curator and as a viewer I am pleased that this roll, with one hundred seventy-six vintage print, Jindřich donated to the museum," thanked the author Bieleszová.
An exhibition marking the birthday of one of the most important Czech photographers who became famous documentation of rural life in the moribund socialism, will be on display until October 30.
