The text of the production by Lucie Hrochová is inspired by the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andresen, the famous Giradoux play and Icelandic short stories by Knud Rasmussen.

The main theme is the contrast between soul and ego, nature and man, immortality and finiteness, simplicity on the one hand and artificial complexity but also human creativity and ingenuity on the other. The natural, powerful and at the same time simple is represented by the mermaid Ondina, opposite her is the mortal Hans. However, these two beings, who are opposites to themselves, admire each other and long for each other.
