Campaign for support of the Olomouc Museum of Art

The Olomouc Museum of Art may be the only state institution in the Czech Republic, which owns a representative collection of works of art by visionary and pioneer of op-art, Victor Vasarely. Already at the end of last year we received a large-sized  tapestry Harmas (1966) and a painting Terek (1951). And now we have (thanks to excellent relations with Vasarelys grandson and administrator of his art estate Pierre Vasarely) a unique opportunity to enrich our collections with a set of 33 serigraphs from 1937 - 1986. But we are still lacking in necessary  financial resources. In cooperation with the Association of Friends of the Museum of Art we decided to approach you,  our visitors, about the request  for support.

The entire collection of works can be viewed at the Museum of Modern Art at the exhibition Victor Vasarely | New Acquisitions II (11 June to 20 September 2015).

Those who want to be  made public on website, social medias and on the "Table of Honour" in the museum can sign their gifts.  The campaign ends on 20 September 2015.
