The educational department offers 12 programs

Do you have difficulties finding your way and need a key to understand fine arts? We would like to help you and show you that a tour of a museum or an exhibition can be enlightening entertainment and adventure! 

We offer special educational programmes for kindergartens, schools and the general public. The aim of the gallery animations is to mediate old, modern and contemporary fine arts in an understandable and experiential way. The programmes always take into consideration the age of the audience, its specialisations and preferences. The Educational Department has separate workrooms in the Museum of Modern Art as well as in the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc.

From April to June teachers can choose from twelve animation programs accompanying the current exhibition at the Olomouc Museum of Art. During programs preschoolers, pupils and students learn details about the exhibitions. Programs can also complement Art Education, Czech language, history and more.
