Statement of Olomouc Museum of Art on the advised resignation of Antonín Staněk

Olomouc Museum of Art declared willingness to communicate with the Minister of Culture on a constructive and affiliate basis. As he reported to resign on his position on May 31, any following meetings are of no more purpose for us. We expect him to take no more essential and irreversible decisions in the resort of culture. 

Any other step of Antonín Staněk in his function would definitely not bring the desirable stabilisation of situation in culture; on the contrary, it would only escalate the existing tensions. 

The new chosen minister should be the person to decide how to lead the resort of culture and to calm down the distraught situation of nowadays. We expect a moral and professional representative to be nominated on this function.
