Lecturers and teachers from four partner cities met each other in Kroměříž

The ArtCoMe international educational programme officially started at the weekend of 22-24. September 2018 in the beautiful surroundings of Archbishop’s Chateau in Kroměříž. The programme will connect students from Olomouc, Krakow, Bratislava and Pécs. But the first meeting was intended for museum lecturers and teachers who will work with selected students within the program over the next three years.

Part of the programme was also seminar focused on the possibilities of interpretation. Teachers experienced an unconventional tour of the chateau with tablets and attended a workshop in Flower Garden, where they explored multiple interpretative approaches and gained inspiration for working with students.

International educational programme is part of the project Art & Contemporary Me. Artwork as a medium building European identity that addresses strong and unique experience of individual with artwork by means of common artistic creation of general public and professionals. The project is funded by a Creative Europe – Culture grant programme.
