Jubilee of Jiří Šalamoun reminds Kooperativa Gallery

When someone says Jiří Šalamoun, few can not recall any of the legendary illustrations of books for children and adults. Author of congenial visual accompaniment Maxipes Fík or Hobbit celebrated his eightieth birthday this year. On this occasion, the exhibition has been held in Olomouc Museum of Modern Art and in Kutná Hora GASK gallery. Congratulations for birthday is from 16 December also exhibition in Kooperativa Gallery in Prague. Olomouc Museum of Art was involved in the preparation of the exhibition.

Exhibition entitled "...and even this" is a comprehensive cross-section of the work by Jiří Šalomoun, whose sovereign creation conceals a brilliant addition to the art form and the specific humor and visual commentary of spent time. Visitors can see 500 works by Šalamoun. These include a series of illustrations, free drawings and lithographs, but also posters and graphic packaging solutions of records.

The exhibition is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. Will last until 15 March 2016.
