In May will be closed Café 87

Cafe 87 in the Museum of Modern Art will be closed for the whole May. The reason is the replacement of windows, which is part of the overhaul of the outer shell of the building. Reconstruction, which is supervised by the architect Michael Sborwitz, will be completed in October this year.

Construction work will conclude not only the ground floor, but also the first floor of café. The most visible for the public will exchange of shop windows in the street section. One test piece of new window builders installed last week. In the summer months the museum will bring a new facade. "For this cahnge we have the greatest pleasure. The building will revert to the original color of the marble rubble,"said the director Michal Soukup.
