Hortus Magicus revived over the weekend in Libosad

Lovers of art and Baroque enjoyed a weekend in Kroměříž Flower Garden on  Festival Hortus Magicus. Saturdays program offer climaxed with fireworks, which were not missing baroque rosette, Sunday ended the festival with a concert Plaisirs de Musique with a story of forbidden love English lady and a French knight. But highpoint found everyone else.

While dramaturge Kateřina Fajtlová picked from the program Rococo ballet, full of rich costumes, music, witchcraft and wizardry Magic garland with performances in the ensemble Musica Florea and Hartig Ensemble, warden of the Archbishops Palace and Gardens Martin Krčma praised Czech lute.

"On Saturday it was authentic Baroque performance Michnas songs Loutna česká performed by the Ensemble Inégal, in addition to the newly discovered violin score, but on Sunday, the same concept in the theater and in todays context in the interpretation of the file Geisslers Hofkomediantan," commented Krčman.

In addition to music, dance and theater, visitors enjoyed the experiential programs and period games for children and families, workshops, guided tours or take a picture left in Baroque costume. This years program, people rated themselves as rich, attractive and flashed festival with better facilities.
