The unifying line of paintings by young author Barbora Bieylonovič is silence, for her a very personal, intimate theme. She asks herself, "What is silence?" And tries to answer her with other questions: "Can it be defined? It means something different to each of us. Silence, when we have nothing to say, moments of loneliness in experiencing our own heart. Quiet household after a disagreement with a loved one. A silent truth that is hidden. Silent game with power in society. The secret in the silence of the head. Be quiet and dont say it! Quietly compare and evaluate aloud. There are many moments when one would prefer to be silent or should be silent. Is there a thought in silence that we still hear? So silence is what has no sound, or does silence have its tone, its vibration? And maybe TICHO doesnt exist at all. ”
