Zittau Collections of Old Art and Wolfgang Sterling’s Collection

This exhibition features a collection of one of the oldest German museums, the Museum of the City of Zittau in Saxony, located in the premises of the local Franciscan monastery. The selection is focussed on the representative works of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art complemented by selected works from the unique local collection of the Cologne collector Wolfgang Sterling comprising works of art with religious themes of both old and modern art.
