Graduated in 1997 from the Sculpture Studio of Prof. Kurt Gebauer at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and took her PhD at the same school in 2005. She is the head of the Studio of Body Design of the Faculty of Art, Technical University in Brno. Her work is concerned with happenings, performance, photography, and installations in public space. She often focuses on issues of gender, women, and motherhood, as well as sexuality. She created the ironically conceived ‘pornographic magazine for women’ Ženín. She has had solo exhibitions in, for example, the Prague galleries Hunt Kastner Artworks (2008) and Trafačka (2009). She has also participated in several group exhibitions, including Behind the Velvet Curtain: Contemporary Art from the Czech Republic, Katzen Arts Center, Washington, D.C., 2009; and Beyond Reproduction: Mothering, Kunstraum Kreuzberg and Bethanien, Berlin, 2011.
