In accordance with scholastic traditions, Ockham placed a high value on logic. His Summa logicae – in this case Tractatus logicae – is a very original work. It consists of three parts, the first dealing with notions and meanings, the second dealing with propositions and the third with arguments, syllogisms, paradoxes and falsehood.
